Freedom of speech
What is freedom of speech? Well I think that freedom of speech is expressing are opinions without the fear of having a punishment. I really don’t think that limitations to what we can say interfears with the first admendment. I believe this because I think that certain language can be offensive. I’m not saying that the first admedment says that we can’t say something because it is offensive. I’m just saying that this rule applies to us because we have to be careful about the way we say certain things. I think that these rules of edublogs help straighten that out. Remember that this blog is public and other people can see it. If you all of a sudden start writing about raceism for example, a person from a foreign country might find that offensive. On the other hand, you can be careful about your writing and perhaps nobody at all would find that offensive. As you can tell, I think that the key word to this question is “offensive”. I seriously think that we can express ourselves freely, but I also think that we should be careful in what we say. I think that the only time that you should be “offensive” is when you are telling someone that they are harming somebody.
